Mt. Clemens Crane On-Site Repair ServiceMt. Clemens Crane provides service coverage for all of Southeastern Michigan. Our service technicians are Nextel phone dispatched, many with fully equipped service trucks. Breakdown trucks have all the basic parts and tools for both mechanical and electrical crane repair, including a personal man lift to work on over head components in place.

With their factory certified training, our service technicians are extremely familiar with all the components of every Mt. Clemens Crane so most problems can be fixed on site. In addition, our service technicians have a lot of experience working on our competitor's cranes and our service trucks are stocked with many of their common wear items. Mt. Clemens Crane has significant investment in common crane maintenance tools that are available on trucks or at our offices to provide quicker service at very low costs as we are not renting equipment for each job.

Equipment Includes:

    • Every service vehicle (approx. 20) has a personal man lift and ladder
    • Scissor lifts for larger jobs
    • Modern commercial grade trucks and tool bodies carrying all hand and power tools
    • Hydraulic presses from 5-ton to 200-tons
    • Chainfalls, come-a-longs, and rigging
    • Shop facilites in both locations with overhead cranes for in-shop repairs
    • Fabrication capability and small machine shop in Harrison Twp. location
    • Certified test weights

Mt. Clemens Crane is proactive in safety training for all its technicians with periodic safety meetings covering topics such as: personal protection equipment (PPE), lock out, heat stress, driving, hand tools, and ladders. Also, operator licensing in: manlifts, forktruck, crane operator.

Nuclear Power Plant Crane Maintenance

In addition to our extensive Coal Fired Power Plant experience, Mt. Clemens Crane has specialized experience in the area of Nuclear Power Plant crane maintenance. Certain MCC Technicians are qualified as Certified Radiation Workers with Fitness for Duty (FFD) participation and have earned unescorted access in customers facilities.
